Giving is at the heart of our faith. In recognition of God's blessings in our lives, we share with gratitude and generosity. The Bible tells us: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.” (Luke 6:38) and "The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work."
Your generosity helps to fund important ministries at Lakeview Multicultural United Church like the welcome dinners for refugee families, newly arrived in Canada. It also helps us to provide a safe and welcoming space for the local community to gather for groups, activities and events.
